Pine falls to PJP in district play

Pine’s Raiders suffered a 58-42 loss on the road Thursday, Feb. 4 against Pope John Paul II in District 10-2A action.
Pine trailed 10-9 through one quarter and then tied the game at 25-25 by halftime.
The Raiders struggled in the third quarter and were outscored, 18-7, and trailed 43-32 heading into the final period.
Ty Galloway scored 16 points to lead Pine. Galloway also knocked down five 3-pointers.
Jerron Hughes scored eight points and hit one from beyond the arc.
Trey Cooper and Kaleb Voth tallied seven points each. Cooper was good on a three.
Kaz Warren and Lowell Pittman added two points each for Pine.
