Eagles swept by Oak Forest

Ben’s Ford Christian School’s Eagles came up short in a 43-38 setback to Oak Forest Academy at home Thursday.

The Eagles led Oak Forest, 13-11, and 28-18 halftime, 13-11 and 22-18, .
Oak Forest Academy went in front, 32-31, by outscoring the Eagles, 14-9, in the third quarter before going on for the victory after winning the fourth period,
Ashton Hines was Ben’s Ford Christian School’s leading scorer with 12 points.

Daniel Pittman recorded nine while C.J. McClelland posted seven.

Jeremiah Slocum finished with six points while Garrett Pounds and Kameron Underwood added two apiece.

Ben’s Ford Christian School’s Lady Eagles also suffered a 52-11 loss to Oak Forest Academy in a game held Thursday at home.

The Lady Eagles got off to a tough start, as they trailed, 21-5, after the first quarter.

Callie Sprehe led Ben’s Ford with five points.

Addison Seal and Emily Crawford posted two points each while Allison Forbes and Kristen Keaton added one each.
