The Varnado Wildcats earned a win Friday, Jan. 1, over visiting Houma Christian, taking the game by a score of 105-61.

Five Varnado players finished in double figures in the win.

D.J. Jefferson led the Wildcats with 35 points. Delrick Abrams added 19 points and Armontee Kemp finished with 16. Damon Kirsch scored 11 points and Andre Jones finished with 10.

Isaiah Alexander added nine points for Varnado.

Houma Christian defeated Varnado’s Lady Cats 55-40 in a game played Friday at Varnado.

Tarralyn Moses led with 16 points, two steals and an assist. Ke’arria Green added nine points, five rebounds, five assists and a steal.

Yienna Kemp finished with six points, two rebounds, five assists and a steal. Tyquasia Allen added four points, four rebounds and one assist.

Quierra Bickham added three points and Jaden Foster scored two.
