The Bogalusa Police Department conducted a drug sweep of Bogalusa High School and Middle School on Wednesday and found nothing for their effort.
“The drug sweep went extremely well. It’s a routine procedure we use to make sure our schools are safe and drug-free,” High School Principal Lesley McKinley said. “This was not the first time nothing was found. Drug sweeps are routinely done throughout the year. We do appreciate the partnership with our local law enforcement officials.”
McKinley said academics are the top priority.
“Our aim is to make Bogalusa High School an academic institution of learning and educating and shaping the minds of our students,” McKinley said.
