Magee drives in 5 runs in Demons victory over Salmen

Franklinton played a pair of close games against Salmen this season, winning 3-0 and 3-1.
Thursday’s game at Salmen wasn’t like the first two.
Josh Magee drove in five runs and hit two triples in a 14-2 six-inning victory for the Demons.
Johnathan Crain went two for three with a double and two runs batted in.
Morgan Angelo posted two doubles while C.J. Estave was two for four with a double.
Trevor Jenkins tallied one hit, which was a big hit.
Jenkins highlighted a four-run fourth inning with a three-run bases-clearing triple with the bases loaded.
Collin Dominguez tallied one hit in one official at bat.
Dominguez drove in a run and coaxed three walks.
Jamarian Crain had a hit and an RBI while Landon Magee tallied a hit for the Franklinton Demons.
Winning pitcher Mack McElveen was solid. McElveen allowed two runs (one earned) on four hits with a strikeout and a walk in four innings of work.
Landon Magee pitched two no-hit shutout innings in relief to close things out.
Magee finished with two strikeouts, two walks and a hit batter.
Franklinton is 14-3 overall and 5-0 in District 8-4A play this season.
