Emily Marks, age 90, died Monday, March 9, 2015, at 1 p.m. at Riverside Medical Center. She was a resident of Franklinton and a retired housekeeper.

She worked for St. Anthony Nursing Home as a housekeeper in Houston, the Lutheran Home in New Orleans as a housekeeper and Forrest Manor Nursing Home in Covington.

She is survived by her children, Excell (Joyce) Marks, Donald Ray (Regina) Marks, Joyce (Robert) Banks and Paul Edward Marks; brothers, Fred Wilson and Bobby J. Wilson; sister, Bobbie Wilson; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Curtis Marks; parents, Aleno and Arties Wilson; brothers, Lucious and Willie Earl Wilson; and sister, Gladys Causey.

Visitation will be held on March 21, 2015, from 9 a.m. to 11a.m. at Greater Hays Creek Missionary Baptist Church, 31499 Hays Creek Road. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Greater Hays Creek Cemetery.
