Bowling Green coach Pat King said winning this means a lot.
“This senior class, Reagan Moody, Natalie Michel and Kristina Jerrell, has not lost a district game,” King said. “It says a lot about this senior class. It helps our underclassmen because they are learning what it takes to win a conference title. It’s all about the kids. Anytime you can win your to conference title, it helps you going into the next week.”
The top three teams advanced to the South State Tournament, which is taking place this week at Brookhaven Academy. Bowling Green played its next game after Tuesday’s press time. From there, the top four clubs advance to the Class AA Tournament.
