Franklinton Youth Soccer Association registration

The Franklinton Youth Soccer Association is holding registration for the spring season. Boys and girls ages 3-18 are eligible, and new players must bring a birth certificate.

Signups take place Jan. 31 in the Franklinton Junior High School cafeteria from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.

The cost is $55 for U4-U12 age groups and $65 for U14s and up. The fee includes uniform and insurance.

Games are scheduled to begin in mid-March.

Pine athletic fundraiser

The Pine High School football and baseball teams are having their annual fundraiser to help support the costs of equipment and other necessary funds.

They will be selling signs to be placed on the concession stand and dugout.

The cost for each sign is $150 per year.

When the signs become too worn, they will replace the sign free of charge.

The signs will be displayed for the entire baseball and football seasons.
