Magee competing in East-West Shrine Game

A lot of eyes will be on what’s happening at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla., tomorrow, as the 90th annual East-West Shrine Game takes place.

The game is an opportunity for some of the nation’s top college football players to showcase their talents in front of a nationwide audience.

One of the players competing in the contest is 2011 Franklinton High School graduate and LSU senior Terrence Magee.

The running back ran for 571 yards on 112 carries (5.1 yards per attempt) and three touchdowns this season.

Magee, who will be wearing No. 15 and playing for the East Squad, also caught 17 passes for 171 yards (10.1 yards per reception).

One of his LSU teammates, Kenny Hilliard, will also be playing running back for the East. Hilliard is wearing No. 27.

Some of the players who have competed in the East-West Shrine Game include John Elway, Tom Brady and Brett Favre.

The game kicks off at 3 p.m. and is being broadcasted on the NFL Network.
