Mt. Hermon and Pine wrapped up play in the 2014 Hannan Hustle Tuesday with victories.

The Lady Jackets were victorious over St. Katherine Drexel, 49-21, at the Coquille Parks and Recreation Gym.

Nicole Riley had a big game for Mt. Hermon, scoring 19 points. Jada Norman was next, with nine.

Diamond Pouncey recorded seven while Kailee Hughes put up four.

Shmaya Hart posted six points, and Angelica Anthony along with Keasha Banks added two apiece. St. Katherine is located in New Orleans. Mt. Hermon went 1-2 in the tournament.

Pine defeated the host team, 42-23, in Hannan’s gym.

Breyanna Brown finished at 19 points to lead Pine’s scoring attack.

Lady Raiders’ coach Eddie Vaughn said Pine’s defense was effective at limiting open shots.

Pine finished the event with a 2-1 mark.

Mt. Hermon and Pine both return to action Jan. 6.

The Lady Jackets are taking to the road to play against Springfield.

Pine is also playing on the road in a game at Jewel Sumner.
