It’s win or go home time for high school football teams.
All four Louisiana High School Athletic Association football teams have reached the playoffs, and three of them are at home.
Every game takes place Friday and kicks off at 7 p.m.
In Class 4A, third-seeded Franklinton (9-1) is hosting No. 30 Washington-Marion. The winner faces either 14th-seeded Rayne or the 19th-seeded Leesville.
In Class 3A, the first of local week 10 rematches is occurring. Bogalusa, the 23rd-seeded squad, is taking to the road to battle No. 10 Loranger. The Lumberjacks lost last week to the Wolves, 44-26.
The other week 10 rematch is taking place at Pine in Class 2A. The Raiders are hosting a football playoff game for the first time ever. Like last week, Pine’s opponent is St. Helena College & Career Academy. Pine is the 15th-seeded team, while St. Helena made the postseason as the 18th seeded club. St. Helena defeated Pine, 36-21, last week.
Varnado is also at home this week. The Wildcats made the postseason as the No. 14 seed and are taking on 19th-seeded Ringgold. The winner battles against third-seeded West St. John. WSJ has a bye through the first round.
