Bernadine Sprehe Magee, age 92, passed away Sept. 23, 2014 at Good Samaritan’s Nursing Home. She was a resident of Varnado. She is survived by one son, Aubrey A. “Guss” Magee of Varnado; three grandchildren, Wade Magee (Debbie), Clay Magee and Connie Lacey (Elton); 12 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey Magee; one son, Fred Magee; parents, August and Mary Sprehe; brothers, Erwin Sprehe, Emile Sprehe and Edward Sprehe; sisters, Dorothy Knue, Laura Paige and Alvina Green; and two grandchildren, Keith Magee and Tammy Sharpe.

Visitation will be held Sunday, Sept. 28, 2014, in the chapel of Brown-McGehee Funeral Home from 9 a.m. until time for service in the chapel at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Hillview Memorial Gardens. The Rev Kelly Penton will officiate
