Franklinton defeats Varnado

Franklinton was victorious over Varnado, 25-17, 22-25, 25-6, 25-19 in Thursday’s match, which took place at FHS. The Lady Demons play again Sept. 22 at home against Albany. VHS is back in action Sept. 23, hosting Pearl River.

Pine sweeps Franklinton

Pine defeated Franklinton, 25-16, 25-22, 25-23, in Tuesday’s volleyball match held at FHS.

Karley Voth finished with 24 successful serves for Pine, with two being aces, and she added five digs.

Callie Blackwell, Carley Ladner and Rachael Williams all recorded 10 serves.

Ladner and Williams finished with three and two aces respectively for the Lady Raiders.

Pine coach Tammy Voth said her players did an awesome job and that she’s proud of each one of them.

The Lady Raiders host Albany Sept. 22.
