Franklinton finished a match from Tuesday and then played its regularly scheduled contest for Thursday but was unable to win either at home against St. Katherine Drexel.

The Lady Demons played part of a match on the road against St. Katherine Drexel last Tuesday, but it was postponed because of a roof leak.

The teams were scheduled to play Thursday at FHS and did so.

Franklinton and St. Katherine completed the first contest, which was a St. Katherine win 25-18, 25-16, 25-20.

Franklinton did better in the second, but lost 22-25, 25-18, 25-22, 25-19.

Franklinton entered yesterday’s match against Pine, which took place following press time, with a 1-6 record.

The Lady Demons are back in action tomorrow against Varnado at home. They stay at home for the next contest, which is against Albany Sept. 22.
