Bowling Green’s Moody named to all-MAIS team

Bowling Green’s Reagan Moody has been named a 2013-14 All-Mississippi Association of Independent Schools second-team player.
The team is made up of players from all classifications.
This season, the junior averaged 10.4 points per game to go with 3.5 rebounds, 2.2 steals and 1.6 assists.
Moody was part of a Lady Buccaneers’ team that put a great season together. Bowling Green went 35-4 and won the District 6AA title, the District 6AA Tournament and the AA South State Tournament and finished runner-up in the AA State Tournament.
Presbyterian Christian School’s Trista Magee, whose club won the overall basket all championship title, was named the state’s most valuable player, and teammate Reagan Dykes is on the second team.
Starkville Academy has two players on the first team, Sallie Kate Richardson and Nora Kathryn Carroll. Madison-Ridgeland Academy’s Carmen Carter made the first team, while teammate Amber Landing is a second-team player.
Leake Academy’s Mary Grace Key and Claiborne Academy’s Millicent Butler round out the first team, while others on the second team are Jackson Prep’s Ann Hilton Buckner and Mt. Salus Christian School’s Anna Grace Govero.
