SCARDINO

Joyce L. Scardino, 83, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2013, at The Myrtles Nursing Center in Columbia, Miss. A resident of Angie, she was born Dec. 31, 1929.

She is survived by two sons, James Louis Scardino of Manassas, Va., and Leanard Raymond Scardino of Hattiesburg, Miss.; one daughter, Lynn Marie Seal; one brother, Louis Dauernheim of Tucson, Ariz.; 14 grandchildren; one step-grandchild; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Scardino; a son, Joseph Scardino III, her parents, W. Lewis and Gertrude Dauernheim; one brother, the Rev. Dr. John Dauernheim; and a sister, Audrey Platt.

Visitation will be held Friday, July 26 at Brown-McGehee Funeral from 9 a.m. until time for funeral service at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Graveside services will follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens.
