Franklinton’s Baylee Mixon singles down the third-base line in a road game earlier this season against Pearl River. Mixon came through for the Lady Demons in a tough spot Monday, despite FHS falling 2-1 against DeRidder. Mixon replaced Darrien Dykes, who was injured during pre-game warmups, and threw a complete-game, giving up no earned runs on six hits with two strikeouts. She also recorded an RBI single for the Lady Demons’ only run.
