Two Demons named to 7-4A all-District

Franklinton juniors Dejion Alston and Logan Seal were selected as all-district players for 7-4A.

Alston averaged 13.7 points and 7.8 rebounds per game in league play. Seal recorded 12.8 points and 9.3 boards a contest.

The Demons had a tough season, going 9-17 overall and 3-5 in district.

Hammond junior Devin Weber was named the league’s Most Valuable Player. Senior teammate George Perkins joins Weber on the all-district team.

Four Salmen players received all-district honors, including senior Eric Bell, senior Mike Wilson, sophomore Cody Rudolph and sophomore Chris Vickers.

Salmen captured the district title, winning all eight games.

Lakeshore had two players junior LaQuincy Lewis and senior Cole Freeman, while Pearl River placed one on the roster senior Dominick Veal.

Franklinton had one honorable mention player in Tray Anders.
