Franklinton’s Morgan Angelo and Landon combined on a five-inning no-hitter, helping the Demons extend their winning streak to seven games with an 11-0 home victory over Pine.

Angelo started and threw three innings with four strikeouts, one walk and a hit batsman. It’s the second time Angelo has been involved in a no-hitter. He combined with Mack McElveen Feb. 27 in a 20-0 win over Amite.

Magee was strong on the mound and at the plate. He pitched the final two innings and struckout three. Offensively, he went 3-3 with three runs batted in and he tallied.

The two retired Pine in order every inning except the third.

FHS’ Tanner Jenkins went 2-2 with a double and an RBI. Jared Varnado singled and drove in a pair. Austin Armand doubled and posted an RBI, while Josh Magee doubled. Kevin Simmons singled, while Will McCullough logged a run batted in.

Franklinton tallied two in the first before adding four in the third and five more during the fifth.

Pine’s Nick Adcox drew a walk, while Devin Phillips was hit. Danny Smith reached on an error.
