SSA Cheerleaders place third at Nationals in Disney World

St. Scholastica Academy cheerleaders traveled to Orlando, Fla., from Feb. 8-12 to compete in the Universal Cheerleading Association’s National High School Cheerleading Championships, which took place at the ESPN Wide World Of Sports Complex in Disney World. The SSA Cheerleaders placed third in the Junior Varsity Non-Tumbling division and each cheerleader was presented with a bronze medal. The team is directed by Jennifer Keller Walkenford ’82.
