The Bogalusa Lumberjacks traveled to Loranger on Monday, for their last regular season game, and headed home with a score of 69-41, ending the season with a record of 19-6 overall, and a district tally of 9-1.

Coach Ken Martin, who was happy that his team had won the district, said that he had seen the new power rankings and the Jacks are at No. 8.

“According to the power rankings, we will be playing West Feliciana, who’s No. 25 in the rankings.” But he and everyone else is still waiting for the brackets to come out.

According to Martin, the Lady Jacks, who lost to Loranger on Monday, have clinched the 29th seed in the tournament and will play Notre Dame of Crowley on Monday. Coach Adrian Frazier was working with his team and was unavailable for comment.
