Theresa Lynn Miller

Theresa Lynn Miller, 51, a resident of Mt. Hermon born Jan. 5, 1961, died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012 at 4:44 a.m. at Lakeview Regional Medical Center.

She was a nurse for many years at Riverside Medical Center and St. Tammany Parish Hospital. She was a longtime member of Mt. Gilead Primitive Baptist Church in Smithdale, Miss. and was currently a member of Mt. Hermon United Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed going to church and reading her Bible every day. She liked to crochet and loved flowers, often spending time working in her flower garden.

She is survived by her husband, David Miller of Franklinton; two daughters, Sarah Sims and Crystal Miller, both of Mt. Hermon; two stepchildren, Cindy Wills and Christopher Miller, both of Franklinton; three grandchildren, Immanuel Miller, Zoie Miler and Isabella Miller; five step-grandchildren, Alyssa Miller, Sydney Wills, Scott Wills, Daniel Miller and Gabby Miller; her mother and stepfather, Clara Nelle Miller Walton and Bob Walton of Franklinton; a sister and brother-in-law, Kate and Mike Richardson of Franklinton; a brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Rachel Miller of Franklinton; a godchild, Alanna Therese Miller; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Alison Miller; an infant son, Andrew David Miller; a grandson, Nekoda Rogers; and her father, Wilbur L. Miller

Visitation will be held Sunday, Nov. 11 at Crain Funeral Home from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and will continue Monday at Mt. Hermon United Pentecostal Church from 9 a.m. until time for the funeral service at 11 a.m., with Rev. Randall Garcia and Eld. Luke Addison officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Cemetery.
