Area Mississippi Association of Independent Schools. Season enter their second week of the season when Bowling Green School travels to Central Hinds Academy and Ben’s Ford Christian School goes to Heidelberg Academy tonight at 7 p.m.

The Buccaneers, under coach Carmon Moore fell to Parklane Academy 45-6 last week. The Eagles, under coach Tommy Pittman defeated Sacred Heart 34-23 in their season opener last week.

Bowling Green was 4-6 last season and 1-3 in District 6-2A play in Moore’s first season. The Buccaneers defeated Central Hinds of Raymond, Miss. 33-30 last season.

Ben’s Ford was 1-8 last season and 0-5 in District 4-1A under first-year coach Cary Travis. The Eagles fell to the Rebels of Heidelberg, Miss. 36-8 last season.

Bowling Green is led by Russ Smith, Jake Williams, Drew Varnado, Stuart Slade, Colby Knight, James Lavigne, Coleman Knight, Andy Cooper, Sebastion Milton, Grant Ball, Alex Mizell and Conner McCain.

The Eagles are led by Cole Edwards, Cody Stewart, Tyler Wascom, Destin Pittman, Josh Crain, Aarron Taylor, Kaylin Stewart, Tyler Milner and Will Owens.
