Buccaneers, Eagles set for jamborees

Football season is officially here with the jamboree for area Mississippi Association of Independent Schools scheduled for tonight.

Bowling Green School is under second-year coach Carmon Moore and Ben’s Ford Christian School is led by first-year coach Tommy Pittman.

Ben’s Ford will host Baton Rouge Home School at 7 p.m. at Eagle Field. It will consist of four quarters mixed between junior varsity and varsity.

Bowling Green travels to Silliman Institute in Clinton for its jamboree. The Buccaneers play at 6 p.m. in a format that includes the host Central Private and Oak Forest.
