THIBODAUX (AP) – The Manning Passing Academy will host a four-day summer camp for high school football players beginning Thursday at Nicholls State University. The camp attracts more than 1,000 of the nation’s promising quarterbacks and receivers.

Also, the camp will feature a passing skills demonstration with Super Bowl MVPs Peyton Manning and Eli Manning, along with their dad and former New Orleans Saints quarterback Archie Manning. ‘Air it Out and Quarterback Challenge’ is set for July 14 at 6:30 p.m. in John L. Guidry Stadium.

The following college quarterbacks will be attending the event: Zach Mettenberger, LSU; Matt Barkley, USC; Mike Glennon, N.C. State; Tyler Wilson, Arkansas; Logan Thomas, Virginia Tech; Tyler Brey, Tennessee; Taylor Martinez, Nebraska; and EJ Manuel, Florida State.

Tickets for the event are $8 in advance or $10 at the gate.
