Betty Ann Tynes, 42, born June 2, 1970 in Bogalusa, died Thursday, July 5, 2012 at Wilkinson County Senior Care. She was a resident of Centreville, Miss. and a former resident of Bogalusa.

She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by her mother, Mazie Tynes of Centreville and formerly of Bogalusa; sisters, Hettie Tynes of Centreville and Pauline Seals and husband Mike of Bogalusa; brothers, David Tynes and wife Margaret of Petal, Miss. and Gary Tynes of Pearl, Miss.; and two nieces and four nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, J.D. Tynes.

A private family service will be held Friday, July 6, 2012 at Newman Funeral Home at 10 a.m., conducted by Rev. Fred Day. Interment will follow at Crain Cemetery.
