BOGALUSA, La. – Despite ongoing efforts, the black lab abandoned at a Chevron station in Washington Parish remains elusive, drawing continued support and concern from the local community.

Employees at the Chevron station have been providing care for the dog during inclement weather, including recent rains and cold temperatures. Despite widespread support and numerous offers from around the state to provide him a loving home, his wariness towards humans persists, presenting challenges in his rescue efforts.

The community remains determined to find a secure and loving home, with hopes that his journey to a forever home will soon reach a heartwarming conclusion.
