Bogalusa Police Apprehend Suspect with Narcotics

BOGALUSA, La. – On the afternoon of Thursday, Nov. 30th, local law enforcement responded to a call concerning a physical altercation. Upon arrival, suspects involved in the fight fled the scene, prompting a chase by the officers, according to Acting Bogalusa Chief of Police Percy Knight. The Bogalusa Police Department (BPD) successfully apprehended one of the suspects after a foot pursuit.
The individual detained was found to be in possession of narcotics according to Chief Knight. As of now, the identity of the suspect has not been disclosed, and it remains unclear if the narcotics were related to the initial fight or if they were incidental to the apprehension.
