BOGALUSA, LA — The football community in Washington Parish is abuzz with excitement as the Bogalusa Lumberjacks gear up for a crucial playoff game against the Union Parish Farmers. The game, scheduled for Friday, November 24 at 7:00 p.m., is part of the 2023 LHSAA Football Playoffs – Division III Non-Select tournament.

Under the guidance of third-year Head Coach Cyril Crutchfield, Bogalusa is looking to build on their impressive 2022 record of 9-2, where they were crowned District Champions. Despite losing 15 seniors from the previous season, including three experienced wide receivers, Coach Crutchfield remains confident in his team’s abilities, especially with four-year starting quarterback Ashton Levi at the helm. Levi, known for his dual-threat capabilities, threw 2,127 yards with 23 touchdowns and only four interceptions in 2022 while rushing for 318 yards and eight touchdowns​.
