Bogalusa police make arrest on burglary charges

According to a post on the Bogalusa Police Department’s Facebook page, a vehicle burglary spree that has plagued the North side of Bogalusa over the past week has come to an end.
The post says that Bogalusa PD Officers arrested Carrie Crutchfield, a resident of Bogalusa, who has been accused of committing numerous vehicle burglaries within the Terrace neighborhood.
The says that through surveillance video, and other additional investigative means, Bogalusa PD Detectives were able to identify Crutchfield.
Bogalusa PD Detectives then obtained arrest warrants for Crutchfield, and she was arrested last night by BPD Patrol Officers assigned to Shift D, the post says.
The post says that a search warrant was executed on the residence of Crutchfield, which resulted in the finding of an abundant amount of stolen property. Property recovered included a firearm, bank cards, identification cards, social security cards and additional personal items, the post says.
The post says that Crutchfield was booked on 11 burglary charges and 1 attempted burglary charge. She also received additional charges during her apprehension.
