Mary N. Mingo was one who always opened her doors to people who needed somewhere to stay or needed a meal. She will always be remembered for her beautiful smile and those dimples.

She married Charles Mingo Sr. and to their union they had five children: Barbara Mingo, Kevin Mingo, Alice Mingo, Charles Mingo Jr. and Priscilla Mingo

Her memories will always be cherished by her five grandchildren Alexander Mingo, Latisha Mingo, Demetrius “Shae” Mingo and Craft (Jammie) Armstrong all of Hattiesburg, Miss., Kizzy Thompson of Bogalusa, La.; 10 great children: Ashanti Mingo, Destiny Mingo, Ka’Darrius Brewster, Ka’Derek Mingo, Ja’Kerra Mingo, Semaja Miles and Kaeson Armstrong all of Hattiesburg, Miss., Parish Thompson, James Thompson and Tyrik Payne all of Bogalusa, La.; one sister Bertha Mae Daniels New Orleans, La,; one sister-In-law: Ruby Lee Mingo of Bogalusa, La. and Special Nephew Eugene Page.

She was preceded in death by her husband and her children, one brother Robert Jacobs and one sister Lou Ella Jacobs. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, Dec. 9, 2022, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Cook- Richmond Funeral Home Chapel. Family hour is from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. in the chapel.

The funeral service will be Saturday, Dec. 10, 2022 at 1 p.m. at Second Baptist Church, located at 1412 North Ave. Bogalusa, LA 70427

Rev. Darryl Self is officiating.

Interment is at Bogalusa Cemetery.
