Anne Hope Noel, of Mandeville, recently graduated Summa Cum Laude from Emerson College in Boston, Mass.

Noel was also named the Valedictorian of the entire 2021 class of graduates. Noel is the daughter of Jim and Missie Arata Noel of Mandeville, the granddaughter of the late Don and Etta Harrell Arata, the great-niece of Anne Hope Harrell and the niece of Bill and Ann Arata, all of Bogalusa.

Noel is also a graduate of the Louisiana School for Math and Science in Natchitoches. She plans on remaining in Boston to continue her career in political communication.
