Christmas in the Park is returning in 2020, although there will be some changes due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
There will be no “Character Hall,” although the characters will be making special appearances at various times. There will also be no “Story Time with Mrs. Claus,” although she might be seen in other places as well.
However, Santa Claus will still be there. He will be in a new outdoor space to ensure everyone’s health and safety. There will still be the opportunity for a photo with Santa, and there will still be photo frames, selfie stations and picture opportunities set up around the park. The Bogalusa Children’s Carolers will be joining as well.
Pricing this year is $10 for vehicles, $5 for adults, and $1 for students 5-18 years old. Ages 5 and under are free.
Christmas in the Park will be open at Cassidy Park on Nov. 26-29, Dec. 4-6, Dec. 11-13, and Dec. 18-25. Drive through hours are 6-7 p.m., and walk through and Santa is from 7-9 p.m.
