Wanzie M. Talley, 72, resident of Franklinton and former resident of Bogalusa, passed away at Riverside Medical Center in Franklinton on Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2020. She was born in Washington Parish on April 11, 1948.

She is survived by her sisters, Geraldine Penton and Rita (Ronald) Mizell; a sister-in-law, Janice Lambert Bedwell; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Wanzie was preceded in death by her first husband, Titus Jenkins; her second husband, Vernon Talley; her parents, Latimore and Fannie Stogner Bedwell; her brothers, Junior Bedwell and Don Bedwell; and her sisters, Aline Gill and Bernice Jones.

Services celebrating Mrs. Wanzie’s life were Thursday, Sept. 3, with visitation starting at 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and again on Friday, Sept. 4, at 9 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. The Rev. Eric Seal and Rev. Chris Wheeler officiated and interment followed at Talley’s Chapel Church Cemetery.
