Beverly Little, 66, went home to be the Lord on Saturday, Aug. 8, 2020, at her home in Baton Rouge. She was born on Nov. 27, 1953, a former resident of Bogalusa, and a member of Main Street Baptist Church, most recently residing in Baton Rouge to be close to her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Allen Little, formerly of Bogalusa, now a resident of Baton Rouge; a son, Casey (Adam) Little of Baton Rouge; a daughter, April (Preston) Duncan of Walker; four grandchildren, Wyatt Little of Baton Rouge, Callie Yates of Walker, and Hunter and Savannah Duncan of Picayune, Miss.; a brother, Lavon (Carol) Carrier of Angie; a sister, Ouida Harris of Lucedale, Miss.; four brothers-in-law, David Kenny of Bogalusa, Greg (Denise) Mitchell of Mandeville, Kenny (Karen) Little of Franklinton, and Julian (Lisa) Little of Plainview; two sisters-in-law, Barbara Little of Franklinton, and Alyce (Skip) Carraway of White Hall, Ark.; numerous nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins.
Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Myrle and Beatrice Carrier; two brothers, Larry Elton and Milton Earl Carrier; two sisters, Paula Carrier Mitchell and Ann Carrier Kenny; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Hubert and Ruth Little; a brother-in-law, Samuel “Butch” Harris; a niece, Crystal Carrier; and a nephew, Chad Sullivan.
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at Main Street Baptist Church on Friday, Aug. 21. Visitation will be from 10 a.m., with a service at noon with the Rev. Patrick Magee officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Main Street Baptist Church.
