Mrs. Johnnie Mae Burnett, 79, born in New Orleans, resided in Varnado. She departed from this life Jan. 5, 2020, at Our Lady of the Angels Hospital in Bogalusa.

She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, sister, aunt and a faithful servant of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Visitation will be held on Monday, Jan. 13, at Crain & Sons Funeral Home, 809 E. Third St. in Bogalusa, from 11 a.m. until 11:30 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 11:30 a.m. with pastor Alvin Mulder Jr. officiating.

Interment will follow in Robinson Cemetery in Angie.
