The week that many look forward to is here. It’s Fair Week.

The Washington Parish Free Fair will take place Wednesday, Oct. 16, through Sunday, Oct. 20, in Franklinton. That’s right — for the first time this year, the fair will remain open through Sunday afternoon.

The fair is a great time of year. There is plenty of entertainment and rides, and it’s just a great time to get together and just have fun.

Plenty of memories have been made at the fair over the years and it is a tradition for many.
