Bowling Green School’s softball team’s regular season is over and now the postseason begins.

The Lady Buccaneers, who are the 2019 District 4AAA Champions, open play in the South State Tournament on Saturday, Sept. 21 at 9 a.m. against Canton Academy.

The competition takes place at the University of Louisiana at Monroe.

The top four teams from the tournament will advance to the Class AAA Tournament, and the chance to win an overall state championship title.
