Mr. Jerry Robinson Sr. was born April 5, 1949, to the late Simon and Lila Harry Robinson in Angie. He passed away on Aug. 23, 2019, at his residence in Angie at 70 years of age.

He is survived by his wife, Gayle Robinson; four brothers, Danny Lee Robinson (Debra) of Angie, Wallace Robinson of Kileen, Texas, Andre Robinson Of Clarksville, Tenn., and Arisca Hampton of North Carolina; three sisters, Doris Witherspoon (James) of Clarksville, Beaulah Jackson (Alan) of New Orleans, and Ellen Carter of Bogalusa; two sisters-in-law, Brenda Robinson (Ray) of Grambling, Tracy Robinson (Regynold) of Angie; five children, Tywanda Robinson of Angie, Delisha Washington of Montgomery, Ala., LeBrandon Robinson of Atlanta, Ga., Shelton Brumfield of Slidell, and Jerry Robinson Jr. of Angie.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ray Robinson and Regynold Robinson.

The visitation will be held on Friday, Aug. 30, at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa, from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. The funeral service will be noon Saturday, Aug. 31, at Wesley Ray United Methodist Church, located at 30773 Wesley Ray Road in Angie, with the Rev. Terrence August, pastor, and the Rev. Lois Smith officiating. Interment will be at the Robinson Cemetery in Angie.
