Mr. Gerald Ishman Sr. departed this life on May 19, 2019, at the age of 66.

He was born to the late Mr. and Mrs. James (Cora) Ishman on May 3, 1953, in Bogalusa.

He leaves to cherish his memories: one daughter, Erica Ishman Jones of Hephzibah, Ga.; one son, Gerald Ishman Jr. of Lawton, Okla.; two step-children, Demtre Ishman and Derrick Ishman of Elizabeth City, N.C.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James (Cora) Ishman; one son, Dominque Ishman; and one daughter, Tabathy Ishman.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 3, from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. at the chapel of Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 4, at 11 a.m. at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Bogalusa, with the Rev. Christopher Matthews, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in the Duffy Memorial Cemetery in Bogalusa.
