Irma Callender

Irma Lee Cesario Callender entered eternal rest on Tuesday, April 9, 2019, after living a wonderful life of 90 years.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Ardie M. Cesario Jr. and Virgil E. Callender; her parents, Allen LeBlanc Sr. and Elmere Mickenheim LeBlanc; her brother, Allen LeBlanc Jr.; and her sister, Delores Champagne.

She is survived by her sons, Ardie Cesario, Tim Cesario (Dianne) and Mark Cesario (Annie); and also survived by six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Irma was a native and lifelong resident of Bogalusa. She graduated as salutatorian of Bogalusa High School. She loved both her church and its members, as well as Annunciation Catholic School.

Relatives and friends of the family were invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Friday, April 12, at 11 a.m. at Annunciation Catholic Church, 517 Ave. B in Bogalusa, and the visitation began at 9 a.m. and continued until mass time. Burial followed in Ponemah Cemetery in Bogalusa.
