Varnado’s Adrian Bickham had a solid season and this postseason has been a memorable and deserving one for the Wildcats’ senior.

This season, Bickham recorded 64 tackles, including 14 for a loss, and had eight sacks as he played hybrid defensive lineman/outside linebacker on defense.

On offense, he was an offensive tackle and his coach Anthony Hicks talked very highly of him in an article in today’s sports section.

Since the season has ended, Bickham has been named a first-team all-district defensive lineman and second-team all-district defensive lineman in 8-1A.

Last week, Bickham signed his National Letter of Intent to attend Rice University and he will continue his football career with the Owls. Today, Bickham is playing in the inaugural Louisiana Gridiron Football All-Star Game.

The game will take place at Wildcat Stadium on the campus of Louisiana College and kicks off at 1 p.m.
