Fall sports are coming to and end and winter sports are getting started.

This week, both of Mt. Hermon School and Ben’s Ford Christian School’s basketball teams began their seasons and Bowling Green School’s girls opened play.

Bowling Green’s boys team begins its regular season on Nov. 8.

Also on Thursday, Varnado is hosting the Washington Parish Jamboree.

Two local schools have soccer in Franklinton and Pine.

They open their season against each other on Nov. 13 at Pine with a girls and boys’ match that day.
