Congratulations to the Bowling Green School Buccaneers’ football team.

On Thursday night, Bowling Green captured the District 4AAA title with a 32-26 victory over Columbia Academy on the road to cap off the regular season. It was the Buccaneers’ first district championship in 12 years.

The Bucs finished 8-2 in the regular season and 2-0 in district play.

Bowling Green will now wait and see who its opponent will be for the first round of the MAIS Class AAA playoffs.

It has been a great year for the Bucs and we wish them good luck in the postseason.
