There are times when you don’t reach your ultimate goal in a sports season of winning a classification or state championship, but achievements, improvements and growth throughout the year make it a success.

That was the case for Bowling Green School’s softball team this season.

The 2018 year saw them win a district championship, a South State Title and they had two players make the MAIS All-Star team and they went as far you could go without getting the opportunity to play for the Class AAA Championship.

The last day of any season is the toughest unless you are the champion, but that does not take away from accomplishments throughout the year by the Lady Buccaneers.
