Bonnie Marie Phillips, a resident of Isabel, passed away Tuesday morning, Sept. 4, 2018, surrounded by her family at her residence at the age of 71. She was a member of Palestine Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Jeffery E. (Jolene) Rhodus of Isabel; her daughter, Julia “Julie” (Jeff) Mizell of Franklinton; two brothers, Ed (Anita) Phillips of McComb, Miss., and Patrick Phillips of Wesson, Miss.; sister, Wendy (Glenn) Johnson of Lenoir City, Tenn.; three grandchildren, Tommy (Ana) Mizell of Houston, Texas, Grace Mizell of Franklinton, and Ethan Rhodus of Isabel; and one great-grandchild, Emmie Mae “Mae Mae” Mizell of Houston. She is also survived by two special aunts, Betty Kralicek and Wilda (Doug) Elarton; and by beloved numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Ola Phillips.

Visitation will be held at East Fork Baptist Church in Kentwood, on Thursday, Sept. 6, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Visitation will continue on Friday, Sept. 7, at East Fork Baptist Church at 9 a.m., until the funeral service begins at 11 a.m. The Rev. Fred Brumfield will officiate. Interment will follow at East Fork Baptist Church Cemetery in Kentwood.
