Nearly two weeks ago, local youths had a strong showing at the 66th annual Bayou Liberty Races that took place in Slidell.

Venturer Crew 313 competitors brought home plenty of titles and members from the crew were well-represented across the board in the other places.

Also that day, local paddler, Lauren Haik was victorious in the Ladies Championship Race.
