Kenneth Edward “Bones” Phelps, 60, passed away on June 9, 2018, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington. He was a resident of Bogalusa.

He is survived by one daughter, Candise Dawn Phelps-Wheat of Poplarville, Miss.; his mother, Kathleen Phelps of Bogalusa; brother, Charles Phelps of Sandy Hook, Miss.; sisters, Judy Thornton of Bogalusa and Linda Sharp of Bogalusa; and one granddaughter, Katlyn Miley of Bogalusa.

He is preceded in death by his father, Edward James Phelps; and a brother, James Wendall Phelps.

Visitation will be held in the chapel of Brown-McGehee Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 12, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Cremation will follow.
