Eldora Ward Parker, born April 22, 1955, passed away on Monday, April 2, 2018, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital in Covington. She was 62 years old.

She is survived by one daughter, Maria Galloway of The Woodlands, Texas; four brothers, Emanuel Ward of Rio, Samuel Ward of Bogalusa, Lonzo (Peggy) Ward of Southaven, Miss., and Roger McClain of Bogalusa; two sisters, Katherine Holmes of Bogalusa, and Rebecca Beckham of Bogalusa; seven grandchildren, Brittany (Alex) McGilvray, Kaylin Lang, Kiera Mizell Hayden Mizell, Brooke Cropper, Devin Torkildsen and Dathan Torkildsen; and three great-grandchildren, Sebastian McGilvray, Juliette McGilvray and Chase Bordelon.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Ella Ward; and one daughter, Terena Rachelle Ward.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 4, at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home in Bogalusa, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and will resume on Thursday, April 5, at 9 a.m. and will continue until the time of the funeral service in the chapel at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Spencer Cemetery in Enon.
