Memorial services for Elaine Ferguson Hall, 91, of Byrd’s Chapel Community, Miss., who passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2018, will be held Saturday, March 31, at 3 p.m. at Byrd’s Chapel United Methodist Church.

Burial will be in Byrd’s Chapel Cemetery, under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home.

The Rev. Larry Pickering and Dr. Van Bolden will officiate the service.

A native of Pearl River County, Miss., she was a retired bookkeeper and homemaker. Elaine was a member of Byrd’s Chapel United Methodist Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Donald Ferguson and Neola Lee Ferguson; her husband, Purvis M. Hall Jr.; her brothers, W. L. “Dub” Ferguson and Gilbert Ferguson; and her sister, Beatrice Cleveland.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Tamara Elaine (Brian Whitecotton) Hall and Purvis Melvin “Mel” Hall III; five grandchildren, Justin Provost, Matthew Provost, Jacob Provost, Quinn Hall and Melanie Hall (Paul) Ferguson; her great-grandchildren, Skyler Elaine Provost and Matthew Purvis Provost; her brothers, Gilmer (June) Ferguson and Ralph (Linda) Ferguson; and several nieces and nephews.
